A big Thank You to Kurt for running this superb game. It was the rascally Russo-Austrians (Bob Clark & Pat Lewis) vs us good guy French (Steve Lowry & Myself) taking on a pitched battle trading shots and charges. Most of the early action took place on the Russo-Austrian right flank as Bob & Steve engaged while Pat & Myself took a more cautious approach trading artillery fire as the troops moved forward slowly. After the initial round initiative shifted to the French with our superior skirmishing ability. Pat got in a couple of good cavalry charges against Steve’s artillery while Bob kept the pressure on. In the end we squeaked out a French victory due to our superior “panache” and some well timed dice rolling. Good to see Ravi, Mark & Mike stop by for a visit.
