Kurt Linke treated us to an Octoberfest game of LaSalle today at Miniature Market Retail n Manchester Road. Steve Lowry and Pat Lewis with the Bavarian/Austrian Alliance overwhelmed our dashing French commanded by Tom Stevenson and Steve Treatman with my role to give bad advice to the French commanders. Pat’s cavalry took some lumps attacking our artillery in the center before we were overwhelmed and Steve Lowry practiced some combined arms attack on our left flank squares. It will of course be noted that the brave French units exhibited considerable panache prior to succumbing to the terrific assaults.
