It was off to the Wild West today with Fistful of Lead Reloaded as we headed out to the Black Rock Mine. Seems the Native Americans (Tom S & Bill I) were guided by the sentiments that the mining operation was causing an uproar in the natural order of things and they were about to do their duty to put things right. Meanwhile a group of Pinkerton Detectives (Steve T.)were on the way to arrest the owner of the Mine on charges of embezzlement. The local town Sheriff (Mark W) and his posse were heading to the mine to support the miners there as they had heard the war drums beating.

The start of the game with the mine operation in the center of the board.

Another view of the table with the Native Americans to the left and the Pinkerton’s to the right. The Sheriff is coming in from the far left corner.

Native Americans on the advance.

Bill showing up with the second contingent of Native Americans really helped the cause as Tom had taken some heavy losses.

The Sheriff is in a bit of trouble having taken two shock markers. Thankfully he was behind some hard cover. The rest of his posse can be seen behind him.

In the end it was a victory for the Native Americans as they put the mine out of business (at least temporarily, took out the Mine Owner who was in the custody of the Pinkerton’s and made wreck of the Sheriff’s Posse. Losses were heavy on both sides, but everyone seemed to have a good time.
Thanks to Mark, Tom, Bill & Steve for playing and to the staff at Miniature Market Cave Springs for their support.
