Tuesday Night Gaming 05/20/25 AWI Skirmish

The Tuesday Night group ventured back to the American War of Independence with a small hypothetical scenario to try out the One Hour Skirmish Wargame Rules.

Dave Becker brought his superbly painted and detailed figs to the table top as the forces collided in a mission to capture the vitally important Blue River Bridge.

Here we see some Continentals in hunting shirt taking up positions behind a rock wall.

Andrew had stymied the Red Coats advance on the bridge with his accurate musketry as we see two infantry with red markers indicating that they are downed.

The British did have some luck downing the lone American rifleman inhibiting him from causing disruptions to their plans.

An American using the woods for cover as them move up upon the bridge.

Game One went to the Patriots as the Brits ended up with too many loses and broke morale.

In Game Two Dave took over the American cause and struck out to defeat the British forces.

The second game found the British a bit more lucky with the card draws and they were able to eliminate or suppress some key figures at key times such the American Officer seen here that was downed by two musket armed troopers. The evening ended with a win for each side.

Thanks to Dave, the players for an interesting evening. Thanks also to the folks at Game Nite for their continued support.
