Our After Action Reports are now be posted at our Website: WWW.BMHGA.ComCheck there for some great photos of the games you played in and the ones you might have missed.

Games in Eduction Project!

This Autumn our Game Day West

for September through December will coincide with the classes at St. Charles County Community College taught by our member Mark Williams.

We have invited his two classes to join us at our themed Game Days to see history through the different lens of table top miniature gaming. Our Game Masters are contributing to this effort by  presenting games focusing within the assigned periods and we are hoping the students will take advantage of this “extra credit” opportunity for their classes.

With this in mind,

we ask that our GMs and regular attendees help to be sure that the students get first crack at the game slots so that they can play to complete their assignments.

We very much need our regular players to help coach the students who are generally unfamiliar with our hobby, the history being presented and gaming in general.

This is a great opportunity to reach beyond our normal group of players, share our hobby with others, help some young folks with their education and just do some good.

Your help is greatly appreciated in seeing this project succeed.

Local History comes alive as a tiny force struggles to hold off an assault by British Native American Allies. Will St. Louis remain in the hands of the Spanish?

Greene’s Rearguard

It is September 11th…..1777, and now late in the day, the American Continental Army has lost the Battle of Brandywine.

There remains an intact Division, Nathanael Greene’s Virginians who might reposition quickly enough, to hold open an avenue of escape for Gen. Washington to save his defeated and retreating troops.

The stage is set for this small but important action

The Battle of The Chippewa

Early in 1814, it was clear that Napoleon was defeated in Europe, and seasoned British veteran soldiers from the Peninsular War would be redeployed to Canada. The United States Secretary of War, John Armstrong Jr., was eager to win a victory in Canada before British reinforcements arrived there.

Support the Retailers that Support Us!

It is important to remember that we greatly benefit from our local gaming retail community being able to use their space mostly at no charge for our public events. It is only fair that we should whenever possible make purchases from them whenever we can do so.

Buying a soda or your snacks on-site rather than carrying something in may not seem like much but it makes a statement that we are trying to buy here to do our share.

Picking up your paints, brushes and such for your figs, some new dice, card sleeves or accessories adds a little to the cash drawer.

We are coming up on the gift giving time of year and a new board game for the family to play over the holidays is always a nice thing.
