Semi Regular Retirees Game – 3D Attack on Cahokia

We had an opportunity to do a run through of the #D Attack on Cahokia Game that will be featured at the upcoming event on October 19, 2024 at the St. Charles County Heritage Museum and it was a great time with a fun bunch. This is still a “work in progress” as the pieces come together from our many talented contributors who are helping with this presentation.

Just before getting started We see the British Native Americans (Steve L, Bill D., Bill I. & Steve T.) sorting out their forces. Getting ready to play on the great game board created by Pat Lewis.

The Patriots (Mark J, Mark W. & Pat L.) confer as the British get ready.

Some completed counters of The Virginia Regiment of Illinois occupying one of the many farms on the board.

The British Forces advance across Rigolet Creek towards the defenders.

Things on the American’s right flank have taken a decidedly bad turn as the Chippewa engage in close combat at the farms with more on the way across the stream.

The British forces made every effort but the Americans had great success with their artillery and some great card draws to compound their good luck. In the end it was just too big a hill for the Native Americans to climb.

We will be running this game again in the future in order to familiarize ourselves with the nuances of the rules and be well prepared for the upcoming event.

Thanks to Pat for the Great game board and as always to the staff at Miniature Market for their support.
