The second of two games run at our Semi Regular Retirees Game at Miniature Market Cave Springs was another run through preparation game for our coming October 19, 2024 presentation at St. Charles Heritage Museum. In this one we tweaked a bit of the set up adding a couple of civilian farmers outside the walled structure.
Here Marty (British Native American Allies) and Sam (Farmers and local Militia( get started with our first game.
Above you can see the ranks have thinned among the settlers as there is only one defender left at the walls. This one went to the British as there were no survivors among the settlers.
Our second game (it is after all One Hour Skirmish Wargame Rules). Saw Sam take over the attacking British as the defenders formed up on the walls to protect the farm.
Above we see the unarmed farmers inside the barn while the local militia stands at the doorway in a later game where Steve T. took over the defending forcers.
Note the Native American Ally across the wall and preparing to engage in close combat with a defender.
All in all a good series of run throughs and it looks like this one is just about ready to go for October. Thanks to Marty, Sam and Steve T. who joined in to give it a good test and help iron out the kinks.
