A good turn out for our March Game Day West brought together some great players and great games presented by our Game Masters as we started the month off right by rolling dice and enjoying each other’s company while puzzling out the scenarios on the table tops.
It was hot action on the cold Eastern Front of WWII as Chris Ketcherside brought his Tank on Tank game to life with some great looking terrain and miniatures.

Some T-34s ready to roll on the offensive.

Unfortunately for the advancing Soviets, some bad things were lying in wait and took a tremendous toll.

The day went to the German forces, but not before some hard fought action.

Mark Williams put together a real treat with his World War I Battle of Dogger Bank as we took a trip back in time to 1915.

The German High Seas Fleet had sortied to make some mischief and the Royal Navy would have none of that sending out a bigger squadron to track them down.

Some superb gunnery on the part of the Royal Navy bested the German attempts to escape and despite every effort on the part of the Imperial Fleet to keep to the mission of escaping with the battle line there was just too much damage sustained.

Remaining afloat for our third game of the day. Dave Schaffner offered his British vs Pirates game of the age of sail.

The merchants were out to deliver their cargo off the Island of Granola and it was a fertile environment for those with less than honorable intentions to find a means to capitalize on the situation.

This hard fought battle swung in the favor of the Pirates this day, but word is that there will be more adventure on the high seas.

It was great to see some familiar faces return to our Game Day West and to see some new faces come to join us. Many Thanks to our GMs for presenting these great pieces of entertainment for our enjoyment, to our players who jumped in, learned new games in a friendly spirit of competition and the Staff of Miniature Market Rock Hill for their continued support.

Reports of torpedoes skipping across the tables from the Dogger Bank Game to the Pirate Game were greatly exaggerated……

Some sharp games and gaming!
Nice photos and reporting too Kevin, thank you for organizing us and placing your thoughts here for us to see.
Already looking forward to April’s scenarios.
