🇨🇳 55 Days at Peking

Steve Lowry, GM

This week we’re heading to China in 1900 for an enlarged and enhanced version of 55 Days at Peking, recreating the dramatic siege of the European legations during the Boxer Rebellion.

But there’s a bigger mission behind Thursday’s game.

🎓 Help Us Take History to the Classroom!

This game is being prepared for an upcoming Big Muddy history class event and our Education Working Group.

Our Education Working Group uses historical gaming to bring history into school classrooms—giving students an opportunity to see History Through a Different Lens.

That means Thursday isn’t just about moving pieces and rolling dice. We’re helping prepare a game that can introduce students to the people, conflicts, decisions, and consequences behind an important historical event.

Come help us get the game ready!

Whether you’re an experienced gamer who knows the rules inside and out or someone who simply enjoys history and wants to lend a hand, your help is welcome.

🎲 Three Days. Three Games. One Big Muddy.

Come play. Come learn. Come help us bring history to life.

History is better when you can put it on a table and roll some dice.
