Our April Game Day East continued to build upon the previous successful monthly and weekly games this month as Winter turns to Spring in the Metro Area. Our offerings were filled to capacity (and a bit more) as we enjoyed the spacious facility that is Impact Games Center in Fairview Heights, IL.

First up was Kings of War presented by Les Hostetler for a full + table of eager participants.

Based upon the laughter coming from the table, it appeared everyone was having a good time at this initial offering of the game system.

A well balanced scenario that came down to the very last dice roll of the game.
Table two featured a test run of a WWII scenario for the upcoming Barracks Battles @ DieCon 2025 using Fistful of Lead rules.

A downed RAF Pilot is being sought by both the German Army and the French Resistance fighters.

This day after some bitter fighting and some wildly outlandish dice rolls was close to going to the Germans as they had the pilot in custody heading towards their edge of the board. A bit of a “mishap” on the part of the well intentioned shot by the Resistance dropped both the German Guard and unfortunately the captured pilot leaving no clear winner. A tight game of move, counter move, good dice and some less so.

Thanks to all the players that came out to join in the fun at Impact Games Center for our April Game Day East!
