Bob Alsop & Burt Campbell teamed up to present a 25mm version of the ACW Battle of New Market using Valour & Fortitude rules for our August Game Day and it was exceptionally popular with the assembled players.

The scenario and battlefield was well laid out by our GMs so we will turn it over to Bob for his comments.

“ It was great to finally get the game off the ground after a long time of preparation, painting and planning. Thanks to everyone who played, I hope you all enjoyed!!! Special shout out to Burt Campbell for helping bring it all together.“

Dave Schaffner added, “We all had a great time Saturday! I thoroughly enjoyed the New Market game, and the rules too.”

A close up of Bob’s superbly painted figures. Bob tells us here, “The 54th Pennsylvania opens up a volley of fire on units from the 62nd Virginia.”

“The action was so fierce it blew the roof right off the Bushong farm outhouse!!” reported Bob! Hope no one was in there!!!
So we will sum up this After Action Report with Dave Becker’s comments. “Great games enjoyed by everyone there on Saturday and there was enough gaming action to keep everyone happy!”
Thanks to all the players, GMs and the staff at Miniature Market- Rock Hill for a great August Game Day.
