We were honored and pleased to share the room at our Game Day West with the St. Louis Historical Gaming Society bringing more historical gaming under under one roof at the same time.

This month they brought to the table two great games of the formative days of our nation.

Wilderness War focuses on the conflict of The Seven Years War or as it was known in our neighborhood, The French and Indian War. The fallout of actions in this war had direct and indirect consequences on the North American continent just a few years later as the British Colonies struck out on their own. Two games of Wilderness War were played, the first with a British Victory after the French got out a bit too far ahead of themselves and a second with much more even results.

Command and Colors: Tricorne AAR: Battle of Monmouth. A hidden movement card driven activation system found the British engaging the Continentals as the American Revolution ground on. In this game the battle went to the Patriots after some hard fighting.
If you have interests in historical board wargaming, this is the group for you and we encourage you to join us at our next Game Day West Saturday August 5, 2025 at Miniature Market Rock Hill.
