Wednesday Night Gaming 07/09/25 Cold War Commander

The forces mustered in for a bit of Cold War gone HOT at Fantasy Books & Games on Wednesday Night as Ray Runge ran an intense game of Cold War Commander rules. Steve Lowry gives us a report from the field of battle so we will tune in the radio and catch his description….

“Last night‘s game of Cold War commander was run by Ray Runge. It was a battle between four battalions of American m1s and for battalions of Russian tanks. The Russians were able to seize the bridge in the middle of a table that was the objective of the game.  It cost them tanks to hold it, but they still held it at the end of three turns. This was the first time for the group playing with these rules and it was something of a struggle to learn them.”

Thanks Steve for the pics and report on what looked to be an interesting game and set of rules. Thanks to Ray for presenting a puzzle for the players to solve and of course our Thanks to the fine folks at Fantasy Books & Games for their continued support.
