Semi Regular Retirees Game 07/17/25 …And One For All & Plains Indian Wars.

Miniature Market Rock Hill was the site of our two games Semi Regular Retirees Game Day as Pat Lewis brought his jumbo board-game Plains Indian Wars and we saw a reprise of the Tuesday Night Game … And One for All….

As we learned from our Tuesday Night Game, Constance had been arrested by Cardinal Richileu and was on her way to being tried and executed for high treason. Under the escort of Rochefort and four of the Cardinal’s Guard(Steve L) the party had stopped at a farm to rest. The Musketeers (Marty G) had picked themselves up after the defeat at the Village of St. Francois and were in hot pursuit.

Marty elected a strong show of force, placing the entire group of King’s Musketeers on the road junction blocking the pat of the cart carrying Constance.

Jules R. arrived taking charge of the Cardinal & his group who were next to arrive from St. Francois. This greatly bolstered the spirts of the Guard at the farm.

After a pitched battle at the farm’s gate Pothos was able to take charge of the cart carrying Constance. This was to be short lived at Rochefort with the assistance of some of the troops under the Cardinal’s party were able to defeat him and reclaim the cart.

After battles across the table top that claimed three out of four Musketeers and with some incredible swashbuckling dice rolls by Marty, D’Artangan was able to slip past Rochefort and exit with Constance.

Our next table saw Pat Lewis presenting the jumbo board game by GMT “Plains Indian Wars” Pat’s game boards are always a sight to behold and enjoy.

The goal of the game is for the settlers (Mark J and Dave B) to connect the continent., the goal for the Native Americans (Steve T and Gregg D) is of course to present that from happening.

The Settlers progress was steady as they crossed the plains and great mountain ranges, but the U.S. Cavalry paid a heavy to ensure that was the case.

The game was called as the player’s time available had expired and judged to be a victory for the Settlers. The Iron Horse had cleared the Sierra Nevadas and would likely have met up with the westward pushing railroad out of St. Louis in about 3 turns. The Natives still held a fair force but the tide was swinging.

Thanks to all the Players in the two games and of course our thanks to Miniature Market Rock Hill for their continued support.
