Our Thursday Semi Regular Retirees game took us to Miniature Market Rock Hill this week as we did another rules familiarization session with the FREE (online) Valour & Fortitude rules set.
As we were just walking through the rules there was no real scenario involved beyond a meeting engagement. The CSA were under the command of David H, Steve L and Pat L. with the Union under Tim L, Steve T and Mark J.
Here we see the CSA crossing the stream in a few spots putting pressure on the USA. Previously the Union center under Tim had repulsed a Rebel Cavalry incursion by Steve L.. The Union horse soldiers forward move was short lives as the Confederate infantry attacked from several angles causing severe discomfort to the pony soldiers.
Above we see Rebel Cavalry having crossed the stream preparing to attack the Union right.
Our game was a bit shortened today as a scheduling hiccup made the session a bit more brief than we would have liked, but it was nonetheless productive in our learning the nuances of this rules set.
