Big Muddy Historical Gaming Alliance – St. Louis Tuesday Night Gaming
Game Nite was a hoppin’ place this Tuesday 07/07/26 and we were in for action on numerous tables with Iwo Jima, One Hour Skirmish Wargames “There’s Wookies in the Woods” and two Bolt Action games.
Pat Lewis was kind enough to bring his enlarged and enhanced version of the board game Iwo Jima depicting the USMC assault on the island in the later stages of WWII in the Pacific. Pat’s upscaled boardgames are always a site to behold with his skill making the terrain and pieces for us all to enjoy.
Patrick Connaugton showed off his Star Wars version of an escape by Princess Leia under hot pursuit by Imperial Storm Troopers with his “Wookies in the Woods” set up. This game lead to lots of great ideas being exchanged on the One Hour Skirmish Wargame Rules system and we took away some food for thought.
Elsewhere we found two Bolt Action games underway with one being a German on German game while the other was a US vs German scenario. It was nice to see some new players that are getting into the system bringing their armies along to take on the challenges of the game tables.
