May Game Day East at the spacious Impact Game Center in Fairview Heights, Illinois was well attended and saw three wildly different games for our players.

Leading off the list was Adam Jones delivering a table full of intrigue in the dark realms of outer space with his Full Thrust scenario.

Great looking figs and spectacular game mat added to the players enjoyment of this meeting engagement.

It was some tense action which saw some significant volleys of missiles (in one case 90 of them) sent out as greetings to the enemy fleets.

As they say…..”In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream….”
At the next table Steve King presented a Regimental Fire & Fury ACW Game which drew the interest of players and passersby.

Another example of great terrain and well painted figs added to the experience for all.

An evenly balanced game which found each side turning the opponent right flanks.

In the end a draw was declared after much hard fighting.
Table Three was a Samurai vs Bandit Skirmish scenario by Tom Vielott

Move and counter move created a challenging situation for both players as Tom was trying out some rule modifications specifically to the Samurai era.

Fighting Monks supporting the Samurai move towards a wooded area to secure the right flank.

The fighting centered on “tape measure” hill in the middle of the board and shifted back and forth. In the end the dice went in favor of the Samurai and the Bandits were driven from the field, but not before a heavy toll was taken.

Thanks to all the GM’s, Players and the staff at Impact Game Center in Fairview Heights, IL for a super Game Day East!
