Tuesday Night we saw two tables of action at Game Nite this week. First up was Patrick Connaughton’s Full Thrust Space Combat game, The Last Station. Packed with some great looking ships, a great new starfield game mat and fascinating terrain that really added flavor to the table top it was a real treat for the players.

Our scenario featured Rebel forces (Mark J & Tim L) trying to make off with a certain princess in a transport ship while hot on their heals were the forces of the Imperial Space Fleet (Riley, Andrew and Kevin). It was a race to for each side to accomplish their goals of either capturing or escaping with the princess. The turns were punctuated with laser fire and lots of Imperial Missiles complemented by some occasionally fair dice rolling.

The rebels did take some heavy losses but managed to pull a head fake on the Imperial forces by transferring the princes to another ship while dishing out some serious damage to the opposition.

(This rebel ship turned into a missile magnet and left the game just after this photo was taken)

Our other table was a great looking Bolt Action 2 player game with great looking figs and terrain.

Thanks to Patrick and all the players who came out on this Summer evening to enjoy a wonderful couple of games. Thanks also to the fine staff of Game Nite for their continued support. Remember to shop local.
