Tuesday Night Gaming – The Battle of the Lost Loch

Patrick Connaughton treated the Tuesday Night Group to a Victorian Steampunk Naval Action in the Lost Loch using Imperial Skies rules for this scenario.

It was His Majesty’s Royal Navy vs the Imperial Prussian Fleet as the Brits were attempting to save to fight another day, a heavily damaged Battleship from a previous action.

The game begins as the Prussian and British light forces in mid table engage in a duel while the British Cruisers head to take under tow the battle damaged BB.

The Imperial Prussian Commanders study the table as their first units arrive.

A British Light Cruiser up close.

The Prussians check the range to the British Cruisers attempting to tow the crippled Battlewagon.

The Prussian attacking force moving at top speed to intercept. In the end it was a British victory as a combination of good dice and lucky seamanship combined to put them over the top. We suspect that the next encounter will be a much tougher one for the Royal Navy.

All in all a very entertaining and challenging game system with a superbly crafted scenario by Patrick. If you missed this one, be sure to make it to the upcoming Tuesday Night game sessions. Just check the calendar on the home page (the button to the right) for the latest schedule.

Thanks to the Great Staff at Game Nite for the use of their tables and support.
