Greg Dieckhaus gave a trip back in time and to the Moon with some great looking 3D printed terrain, great looking figures and interesting scenario for our Thursday game day. Lunar is a skirmish level game of Moon mining and some combat to get those pesky folks from the other side of the table away from the results of your digging.

The small gaming surface belies the jumbo size fun of the game as the teams Mark J and Steve T (US) vs Marty G and Steve L (Soviet) work to uncover valuable resources on the moon for their respective countries.

An overview of the playing surface.

The Soviet forces.

Greg going over some the basics for the players.

Team USA is ready to roll.
The game played reasonably well for its first outing and it seemed everyone had a good time in this Cold War era fight on our nearest neighbor. The day went to the Americans but it was a close match that is sure to be seen again on the game table.

Thanks to Greg and the players for giving this new one a run through. As always a big Thank You to the folks at Miniature Market Cave Springs for their continued support.
WOW!
What an interesting game scenario, that looks great too – nice work Greg.
The game looks great fun,

We are using a game called Lunar which I understand to be a Kickstarter project.
