The Wednesday Night Gaming Group at Fantasy Books & Games was treated to Steve Lowry’s presentation of his Convoy PQ-17 battle using General Quarters III WWII Naval Rules.

Steve was kind enough to send in some pics and an AAR so let’s hear from his description…….

“6/25 The convoy was proceeding north and both German task forces attacked from the east. The Allied cruiser task force (Dave and Craig) came in from the northwest and heavily engaged the German pocket battleship force, sinking three destroyers.”

“This was a Big Muddy introduction to gaming for the new German commander Kevin. The Lutzow was also close to sinking. The German Tirpitz force was commanded by Adam Jones who was able to sink a couple of merchant ships with gunfire before the battleship Washington (Ray Runge) and Duke of York (Ray Gluck) took out two of the Tirpitz turrets and Adam decided to withdraw. A fun and exciting game for all.“

Thanks Steve for the Great After Action Report and Pics! We look forward to seeing the gaming on Wednesday nights whenever we can. Thanks to all the players and of course to Fantasy Books and Games for their continued support.
