February Game Day East 02/15/26
Good turnout for our February Game Day East held at the spacious Impact Game Center in Fairview Heights, Illinois which featured two fun games.
First up was Full Thrust by Patrick Connaughton
It was a fast paced deep space moving puzzle for the players Adam, Ray, John and Tom. It was lasers, torpedoes and more as they dodged asteroids on this great looking table with some fantastic looking miniatures.
Our second table involved the final stages of World War II on Ray Gluck’s superbly crafted bombed out Berlin game board.
It was the what was left of the Volkssturm (Steve K, Steve L and Craig S) vs the battle hardened Soviet Army (A.J. Jon B and Kevin F) in a maze of destroyed buildings and rubble.
Nothing fancy in the mission requirements for either side, the Soviets needed to cross the board, the Germans needed to delay them.
This day went to the German players, but the victory was for all of us who were able to attend and enjoy two wonderful presentations, by two of our most experienced Game Masters.
