Big Muddy Historical Gaming Alliance – St. Louis Tuesday Night Gaming  04/12/26 Galleys, Guns and Glory

The Tuesday Night Crew at Game Nite put to sea again this week with something new off the shelf with a trip back in time to the age of rowed galleys in the Mediterranean Sea using “Galleys, Guns and Glory” rules for the era.

Andrew our imbedded reporter sent this great batch of photos and description by fast dispatch boat for us all to enjoy so we will turn things over to him…..

“Tonight’s game is “Galleys, Guns & Glory” from the delightful Thomas Foss at Skull and Crown Strategems.”

“The first attempt to ram falls slightly short, bu the gunners enjoy the opportunity.”

“Even with just four ships, we manage to make a confused melee with no semblance of tactics!”

“Mark launches a boarding action against a Spanish galley!”

“So far each side has captured and recaptured a ship!”

“Somehow we have reached a Mediterranean Mexican standoff.”

“A final boarding action results in Spanish action into the last Turkish ship.”

Thanks to Andrew for the great after action report from our Tuesday Night gaming. It looked like some real fun on the table. Thanks also to all the players and to Game Nite for their continued support. Remember to shop local.
